Kami Kami Sensor (bite counter)

kamikami01A pedometer for your mouth.

The Kami Kami Sensor hooks over the ears, with sensors at the jaw and below the chin – its sole purpose: to count the number of bites you take.

Chew you food…and we’ll play you a song

After 30 bites, it beeps. After 1000 bites, it plays a song (“pleasant melody”).

According to the Nitto Kagaku Co, creators of the kami-sensor, the more soft foods (like ramen) children eat, the less likely they are to chew properly, and the more likely to suffer from “sudden gas”.

  1. You know at first, I thought this was to determine if you’re talking too fast or well, maybe too much.
